Siemens (China) Ltd holds 85% shares of SSML. With about 1,500 employees and a total area of 125,000 square meters, the joint venture officially started operation on March 1, 2006, focusing on developing and manufacturing a full series of small and medium size low-voltage motors ranging from 0.3 kilowatts to 200 kilowatts for the international and domestic market. The main products are three phase asynchronous motors for general purpose and their sub-series such as explosion-proof motors, variable speed motors, brake motors and multi-speed motor according to IEC standard.
西门子持有西门子电机（中国）有限公司 85%的股份。公司拥有员工约1500余人，占地面积12.5万平方米。公司于2006年3月1日正式运营。公司致力于研发和生产具有广泛应用的技术先进的、功率0.3-200KW的中小型电机产品供应国际、国内市场。主要产品有符合国际IEC标准的三相异步电机及其派生的防爆、调速、制动、变速多级等系列交流电机产品。2007年销售近六亿元人民币。
